The Samsung Galaxy Fit features a 3.31-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with a QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) resolution which we think could be at least 320 x 480 pixels like the Optimus One's. The phone is powered by a 600MHz processor; the internal memory is reported as 160MB in size and up to 32GB of microSD card is supported. The amount of RAM is not mentioned. The phone also has accelerometer for UI auto-rotate and proximity sensor for auto-screen turn off when the handset is held close to the ear.

The phone is pretty well stocked with connectivity, it has 3G (HSDPA), Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1 and GPS with A-GPS support. There is FM radio with RDS support. The 5 mega pixel camera is the USP of the device with features like auto-focus, continuous-shot, panorama shot and smile shot. Video recording is disappointingly low at QVGA at 15fps which in our opinion is just good enough for watching it on a mobile phone. The rest of the specs can be found here. And if you are in a hurry to get the Galaxy Mini, you can pre-order one from Flipkart for Rs.11, 499.

Free iPhone With New iPad To Be Offered By Apple In Effort To Beat ...

he marketing strategy which has been outlined to an Australian phone carrier will see consumers offered a phone and a tablet on one packaged deal just before the peak Xmas New Year trading period.

"Apple is lowering the cost of both their iPhone and iPad in an effort to blunt the launch of several Android iPads and Smartphone. The savings have been gained through the lowering of manufacturing costs" the executive said.

"People have been sworn to secrecy. You will also see in coming days that the price of an iPad and current model phone is set to be dropped as Apple and carriers try to move existing stock in the channel before they launch their new iPhone and iPad latewr this year" they said.

It's expected that the offer will be launched in the second half of the year after both new iPhone and iPad have been launched the executive said.

The pricing of the deal will see consumers offered the oppertunity of buying the two Apple products, up to 25% under what they could buy the two products for separately.

A senior executive at a major US phone Company when asked about the rumour said "We have heard the same rumour coming out a carrier. It appears to be a strategy that Apple are considering as a means to compete. It would be a pretty strong offer".

A web page is a document

A website (also written Web site[1] or simply site[2]) is a collection of related web pages containing images, videos or other digital assets. A web site is hosted on at least one web server, accessible via a network such as the Internet or a private local area network through an Internet address also called URL.

A web page is a document, typically written in plain text interspersed with formatting instructions of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML, XHTML). A web page may incorporate elements from other websites with suitable markup anchors.

Web pages are accessed and transported with the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), which may optionally employ encryption (HTTP Secure, HTTPS) to provide security and privacy for the user of the web page content. The user's application, often a web browser, renders the page content according to its HTML markup instructions onto a display terminal.
